Seared Wild Atlantic Salmon Drizzled with Mango Reduction over Arugula Bed and Caramelized Onions
Both pictures are the same salad... I spent an extra few seconds on presentation on the first one, and another 30 seconds coming up with the description.
Both salads are exactly the same: arugula, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, wild atlantic salmon (frozen, from Trader Joe's), mango (fresh, chopped and reduced over the stove with white wine), and caramelized onions.
Although the ingredients in this meal are in fact high quality, research from Cornell's Brian Wansink PhD, sometimes known as the "Sherlock Holmes" of food, shows that when eating the same amount of exactly the same dish, the one with a more descriptive label actually makes the food tastes better.
Check out a demonstration of this below at Brian Wansink's home!
